The name of the brand is of purely Ukrainian origin. In the dialect, "blavat" is a flower, a cornflower, and it is also a piece of silk fabric. In addition, in the 30s of the XX century. my grandparents had their own fabric shop called "Blavatny Goods". At one point, everything became intertwined in the name - BLAVAT
